Choc+PB+Banana...Irresistable

When I am craving a thick, cold, chocolate-y treat, this is my go-to shake. With hemp seeds and peanut butter, it's a protein power house and the bananas and almond milk provide plenty of potassium. (alliteration station today) The cacao nibs give you a crazy energy boost and have tons of fiber and the cinnamon is rumored to be a metabolism booster. SWEET! This shake will not only exceed your dessert/breakfast/snack expectations, but it will also fill you up! Add some coffee for an extra kick! 

Perfect Chocolate Shake

2 frozen bananas
1 c. (or more) almond/non-dairy milk
2 tbsp. peanut or other nut butter
3 tbsp. hemp seeds
3 dates
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tbsp. cacao nibs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 ice cubes


I usually blend the first few ingredients together before the rest to get it all incorporated, then I add the fun extras : )

blend. pour. divine.
